Oba Adejoro Otebolaku who is the Owalare of Ilare, Obokun local government , Osun State has denied involvement in sex scandal.
He blamed the idea of linking him with the scandal on mistaken identity.
The Owalare told Global Excellence that though, the person involved, the Aketewi of Iketewi is a monarch under his territory, the matter is, however, according to him, being investigated by the police.
While asking journalists to conduct proper investigations on the sex scandal; he added that the monarch involved will face appropriate sanctions by the Traditional Council if he is found culpable of the heinous act.
It will be recalled that media reports said a traditional ruler in Ilare land was apprehended by the police after impregnating a 14-year old girl among his subjects.
The State Police Command had through its Public Relations Officer, Mrs Yemisi Opalola stated that the man and his son were still at the Crime Investigations unit of the State Command while investigation continues on the alleged sexual escapade.
