A young Nigerian investor, Dare Paul Alebiosu, has joined the race for Ijebu-Ode local government chairmanship. After many years of playing politics at the grassroots level, the CEO of Almar World System is set for the mainstream, according to sources.
The former student unionist, in his 30s, hails from the Alebiosu royal dynasty in Ijebu Ode. A graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Dare studied Business Administration and majors in Marketing. Close sources said he has been a major financier of young politicians in his senatorial axis before now.
The young politician, who is running on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, it was said, played a significant role at the grassroots in the build-up to the 2019 general elections, a remarkable move that earned him the membership of the transition committee inaugurated by Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
Dare is a lover of sports. He is the President of Nationwide League One Side, Almar Football Club. He is also a philanthropist, whose empowerment scheme has touched many, including indigents.
