The National and State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Umuahia, on Thursday, has reportedly annulled the election of former Abia State governor, Mr. Orji Kalu, as the Senator representing Abia North.
The Tribunal reportedly declared Mr Mao Ohabunwa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the election, while it ordered a rerun.
The panel had earlier fixed today, Tuesday, September 9 for judgment in the matter between Mr Mao Ohabunwa and Sen. Kalu of the APC over the Abia North Senatorial District election.
