The minority caucus of the House of Representatives has commiserated with the Inspector-General of Police and the entire Force over the killing of three intelligence officers by military personnel in Taraba State.
While condemning the circumstances surrounding their deaths, the caucus described the slain officers as heroes, who died in active duty of securing their fatherland.
The opposition lawmakers called for a judicial inquiry into the incident as well as “reasonable” compensation for the families of the fallen officers.
The caucus made the demands in a statement by the Minority Leader of the House, Ndudi Elumelu, in Abuja on Friday.
