Seasoned broadcaster, Ify Onyegbule Anderson, is appealing to good-spirited Nigerians to save her husband who is dying of kidney disease.
Her appeal;
“I have tried to be strong, trying to mask the pain just so my husband won’t know how much pain it feels to have him seriously down with illness…but sometimes he reads what is behind and deep within.
Only managed to catch some sleep yesterday after we returned from the hospital following a 21 day stay. It was the first night in 21days that we slept so close together on a big bed, I could feel his body burning as he twitches from the pains of rheumatoid arthritis, pains that have made it difficult to walk so I have to help him up when he needs to move around!
Arthritis is not the story, my husband has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and he has to be on dialysis 3 times a week and head for a kidney transplant as soon as possible if he must stay alive!
It has been tough, one human angel has been by our side since 2nd October when we checked into the hospital. There is more to be done because we need about N15million for a Kidney transplant in India plus a significant supply of post transplant drugs.
