Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has reiterated his neutral stand in politics, saying he is a father to all Muslims and has no partisan interest and opinion.
The Sultanate Council of Sokoto stressed this while dissociating itself from a post being circulated in social media indicating support of the sultan for the defection of Governor Aminu Tambuwal from APC to PDP.
The council, in a statement, described the post as “complete falsehood.”It added that the council was in no way connected to the post and urged the public to disregard it.
